If you wish to rapidly consolidate the knowledge and skills needed to pass the Part B, this course is for you. Unlike other courses, we have kept the format as exam-focused as possible. This means small-group tuition, lectures only covering relevant part B scenarios and a full mock OSCE. Torbay Hospital is a friendly place, and the course will run in the same spirit: we’ll encourage an interactive, collaborative approach to learning, and we will facilitate this with a high tutor-to-student ratio.
The course will take place over two days, with the afternoon of the second day set aside for a full mock OSCE. Lectures will focus entirely on scenarios inspired by past OSCE stations, and anatomy breakout sessions in small groups will also take the format of reviewing anatomy specimens as they would appear in the OSCE.
Thursday 25th – Friday 26th April 2019. The course is perfectly timed for those planning to take the May exam.
The course will take place at the Horizon Centre, which is Torbay Hospital’s cutting edge innovation, education and research facility. Torbay Hospital is in the beautiful seaside town of Torquay. Getting here is easy: we are less than 30 minutes from Exeter by car, and there are excellent rail links (3 hours from London Paddington, 2 hours from Bristol). The hospital is served by frequent busses from all across town.
If you register before the 1st January 2019 you can take advantage of our early-bird booking deal, paying only £250. This covers all course days, learning material, catering and group dinner on the Friday. The price will revert to £300 after April 1 2019. If you wish to book as a group, please let us know as we can offer group discounts.
We’ve put together a surgical faculty comprised of experienced surgeons and current MRCS, FRCS and FRCR Anatomy examiners, and excellent tutors who have recent experience of passing the MRCS Part B. We feel this is the best mix of faculty members to deliver a great learning experience.
Easy! Click on any of the registration buttons on this page or send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that due to capped places we can only confirm your place once payment has been confirmed. You can pay by either bank transfer, paypal or major debit/credit cards.
We will be hosting this course again on the 26th and 27th September 2019. If you would like to book a place for this course, please send an email to email@example.com
